A friendly, sketched logo could be the image you are looking for.
A Devon pub has launched a weekly get-together for people in the local area who live alone, are feeling lonely or simply would like to meet more people. Landlord John Govier was watching a TV programme about loneliness when he was inspired to host a weekly TLC event – Tea, Laughter and Company. (One of the pub’s regular customers came up with the name for the event.) The Brook Inn already hosts many other activities, from Tai Chi classes and watercolour lessons to live music, quiz nights and line dancing!
The Brook is my local, so I was delighted to help when John asked me to come up with a logo for the event. He knew that he wanted the teapot pouring into the “u” from the “a” and I made sure to match the colours to the branding colours that the pub already uses.
Peggy designed a logo for our new venture TLC Thursdays. I gave her a very limited brief about it conveying friendliness and including a cup of tea. I was really pleased with her hand drawn design. Simple, easy to understand and endearing. Oh and extremely reasonably priced too. Very happy. Thank you. – John Govier.
